Q: Can I book the Angelika on the weekend?
A: The Angelika is first and foremost a movie theater. Events can be booked on the weekend, but we strongly encourage our clients to book on weekdays or weeknights. Weekends are "prime time" in the film industry, and premiums are charged for weekend bookings.

Q: Can I bring in outside catering for my event?
A: Absolutely. The Angelika offers a very limited catering menu, and as such, encourages guests to use outside catering. We do have preferred caterers we recommend if you need assistance. However, you may bring your own caterer or food at no extra cost.

Q: Can I bring in donated alcohol for my fundraiser?
A: Unfortunately, no. All alcohol consumed on the premises must be purchased through the Angelika. Please contact your Events Director about beverage packages available.

Q: I want to bring a group to the theater. Is there special pricing?
A: Yes. Groups of 25 or more may receive special group pricing, but the tickets must be purchased in a single transaction. We recommend that you collect money from your group members and have one person purchase the tickets.

Q: Do you accommodate Academy Award qualifying runs?
A: The Angelika Film Center accepts all inquiries for film qualifying runs. Please fill out the below form and mail, with screener, to our booking department. Q: Can I bring my baby to the theater?
A: Absolutely! The Angelika theaters offer the Crybaby Matinee twice weekly for new moms and dads. Changing tables are provided, we leave the house lights dimmed, and the volume is turned down to allow parents to watch their babies while watching current adult programming. Inquire at each theater for specific dates and times.

Q: Can I take my food and cocktails in the auditorium with me?
A: Yes! We encourage you to enjoy food and drink while watching a film.

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol into the theater?
A: Due to licensing regulations, you can only use alcohol that is provided by the theater.

Q: How can I know what will be coming to the Angelika?
A: There are several ways to learn about future programming at the theater. You may check the Coming Soon page of each theater, you may look in the InFocus newsletter available each week in the lobby, or you may sign up for our email newsletter at http://www.angelikafilmcenter.com/dallas/newsletter.asp.
